1. A year ago yesterday was my first day home from work on maternity leave. Why I only went out a week before my due date is beyond me. That day, I woke up early with Steve, made peanut butter cookies, Diana came over and I babysat Logan for a little bit. Diana and Logan played guitar hero together. Oh and we had a short power outage (man my memory is good).
2. A year ago today, I had a sonogram appt to check to make sure everything was okay and that was when they discovered that Luke was breech. The sonogram tech said that was a good thing b/c she was estimating the baby's weight at 9 lbs. Boy was she wrong! So I was scheduled for a c-section two days after that. Also on this date one year ago, we brought Steve to the ER where he was diagnosed with pneumonia. So he was quarantined to his parents house and I stayed home.
3. A year ago tomorrow, I called my mom in the am crying b/c Steve was sick and I was home alone and like the great mom that she is, she came over and we got the house prepped for the baby's arrival and my recovery. Oh and she even brought me some cappuccino frozen yogurt which I ate until midnight that night.
I think that you all know what happened a year ago saturday...more reminiscing to come...
