Slowly but surely…

My goal is to try to post at least once per week at least to catch up.  I’m so ashamed that my last post was for Easter and that was like 3 months ago!!!  I will get better….I know I’ve said it before but whatever, I’ll get there eventually.
In April, the Bounty came to Greenport so we went to check it out:

Luke also learned some new animal sounds in April – check them out here:

Early in May a bunch of us went to Desmonds (in East Wind) for Sunday brunch.  It was so much fun and we all were stuff afterwards!!

On the way home from there, we stopped to see the big jet and Luke thought that was really cool:

Game Farm

We took Luke to the game farm in the spring for the first time.  I have very fond memories of going with my family so I was super excited to bring him there for the first time.  We also met up with a family from Rocky Point that we met on the cruise who had a son just a few days older than Luke. With the exception of the sickly looking deer In Bambiland (see below), it was so much fun!

IMG_0413 IMG_0419 IMG_0414 IMG_0421 Cheep, cheep – the baby chicks were so cute!

IMG_0424 IMG_0425 IMG_0427 IMG_0430  The sheep were aggressive but that didn’t stop Luke -  Luke loved feeding them.

Next up was bottle feeding the babies:

And lastly, came the llamas who were SO gentle taking the food…it was amazing!

So much fun for our family – I look forward to going back with him every year!

There’s a snake in my boot….ha ha, gotcha!

In May, Luke started to stop watching Cars 24/7 and started to love Toy Story and in particular, Woody from Toy Story.  So of course, we had to get him the hat/gun holster from the Disney Store.  And I got an awesome deal on Woody and Buzz toys (LOVE Target clearance).

Easter 2010

So we decided to start an annual tradition of having Easter Brunch at our house. We were going to keep it simple and just have bagels, a quiche and some fruit. We wanted a chance for everyone to get together and for the kids to have an Easter egg hunt together.  It was lots of fun!
