Luke's first haircut

Stevo had been on my case for months to get Luke's haircut. I of course did not want to part with my baby's precious locks but it was starting to look really sloppy in the back (see below) and he had his pageant coming up (more on that soon, I promise).

So at the beginning of this month we took him to a barber in Polish town and Luke had his first haircut. He was so good (as always) and the lady cutting his hair was really patient. Of course I got it on camera and probably would've video taped it but figured that was overkill.

Bunny breakfast

The last Sunday in March, we went to the mother's club bunny breakfast with Nanny and Poppy, Keri, Grace and Emma and Logan and Erin. It was really nice and we saw Kate and Davey there too. Luke had a lot of fun running around with the other kids but wasn't too sure about the Easter bunny. Logan was in love with him though!

Emma loved the Easter bunny

So did Grace

Luke has a girlfriend!

Luke's sitter, Norma writes in a book for me each day letting me know when he ate, slept and pooped. And she is really cute too b/c she will write notes about his day like if he had fun or what he played with, etc. So about a month ago, she tells me that Luke has a girlfriend and that they hold hands! So of course I had her catch it on film...here are the lovebirds caught in the act.

Also, Luke loves playing with Norma's Dora kitchen - maybe we have a budding Tom Colicchio (from Top Chef)?

Luke's 2nd St Patty's day

Luke's second attendance of the St Patty's parade in Cutchogue - the first time he slept through it and hung out in the bjorn. Now he is too big and wanted to walk around the whole time - amazing what a difference a year makes.

On St Patty's day, we went to the corned beef dinner with Nanny and needless to say, Luke loved his first corned beef and cabbage dinner. Yum-O!

Why we got rid of the alphabet mats...

No further explanation needed than the pictures:

Playdate with the McCabes

Back in March - Chrissy, Tom and Gavin were visiting from CT and it was a fairly decent day out so we all went to the beach for a photo shoot. Gavin is so darn cute and Luke had so much fun playing with him - we can't wait for the newest addition this summer!

I think he likes it and luckily didn't try to eat it!

Hey Gavin! They're trying to get our attention...

Fine - if you are not going to look, then neither am I!

Sledding!!!

Stevo finally got a snow day in March and Luke had fun playing in the snow - Danny came over to our rescue and cleared out our driveway for us and Luke had so much fun being towed around in the sled. Only problem was once we took him on the front lawn and b/c he was so bundled up, he fell over, face-first into the snow. Needless to say, he was not happy. Here are some pics of Luke enjoying the day:

March photoshoot

At the beginning on March we had a photoshoot at the house to get pics for Luke's entry into the pageant (more on that later). The pictures came out so good and the pic that used to be on the top of the blog is from that. Here are some more from that day:

February update

Here are some more pictures from February:

Luke learned to brush his own hair

He also really likes his Cheerios

He had his first kids meal at Fridays - spaghetti and mandarin oranges. Needless to say, he loved it!

He fell down in his playpen against the wall and had a net-shaped mark on his head for a few hours:

And Luke attempted a gangsta look...

long overdue for some updates...

We have been so busy the past month that I haven't had any time to blog and update all my fans. :-) I will do my best this week to do just that.

Okay so back in February we went to Denver to visit Rob, Beck and the girls - we had so much fun and I'm finally able to post some of those pics. Luke was so good on the plane - he was content to sit at Steve's feet and play on his lap and even took a small nap on the way out there. On the way back was a bit crowded but we managed to get him his own seat for the first leg but he was a lap baby on the second part. It wasn't too bad but I will definitely buy him his own seat if we fly before he is two years old again. He is just too big! We had so much fun in Denver with everyone. Luke loved spending time with his cousins and they were both sooo good with him. We can't wait until they come out in the summer!
