Happy Birthday Stevo!!!

Happy Birthday to Stevo!!!!!

That being said, we don't have anything planned for today except for dinner at his parents. Maybe we will head to the beach...not sure.

Last Thursday, we took Luke to the ocean and to Montauk for the first time. It was a fun trip but exhausting! It was hard keeping Luke entertained at the beach. He kept trying to crawl onto the sand and we all know what that would've been like. But we did manage to get some cute pics and videos and towards the end, he started bouncing on the shore when the waves came up. It was really cute.

After the ocean we went to Montauk to go to dinner and Luke was really good. We kept placing puffs in front of him (he is now able to feed himself) and he was totally content. He also got tons of admiration from passerbys while we were on the dock outside of Gossmans. It was a good day all around although Luke was very tired. This is the pic once we got home before we put him to bed.

Luke loves Bella

On Friday, we were hanging out outside and I was throwing the ball for Bella with Luke on my lap. Well, anything that Bella does, Luke finds absolutely hysterical. It was so cute.

Also, in case you didn't know, if you click here (or on this video), it will bring you to my YouTube account and you can view all Luke's videos.

Almost crawling and making lots of noise

So watch out!!! Luke is almost crawling. I like to call it stomach skateboarding b/c he glides on his stomach while using his right foot to push off and his left food is in the air acting like a sail or something. It is too cute but now we have to watch out!!! Here are some videos:

I'm a happy boy...

I had to get this on video - Luke gets so excited when he sees his solid's bowl and spoon. So much so that if I don't plan on feeding it to him immediately, I have to keep it out of his sight. He is such a good eater and is always waiting (not patiently though) with his mouth wide open. Check it out:

Now while I was feeding him I dropped something and said "Oops-a-daisy" and he just thought it was the funniest thing. Check out these videos...he just didn't stop laughing. So cute!!!

FEED ME...ME WANT FOOD...

This is what happens when Luke finishes his container of peas and you don't immediately get him something else to eat. I shudder when I think about how much his teenage years are going to cost me in food...

Sorry that the pics aren't better but I feel really guilty when I take pics and/or video when he is crying so I try to get it done quickly. Those are real crocodile tears for sure...

Gag me with a spoon...

Today Luke and I went for a walk and on the way home, he fell asleep so I sat outside for while he slept. It was so beautiful outside and Steve was tending to his garden. He came out with this bug:

Can you say gross?!?! Steve called it a tomato bug and said it is desecrating his tomato plants. Look at the size of it - Yuck!!!

Here are some of his plants that the bug has not attacked:

Yummy red tomatoes...

Green pepper

Cherry tomatoes

Valencia tomato

Green zebra tomatoes

Blue-eyed baby

Just can't get enough of it...

Luke's laugh is so great - I just cannot get enough of it. Luke loves to be scared (as you will see in this video). Nana thinks that he will be a dare devil as a result of this.

I gotta wear shades...

I got some great deals on clothes for Luke for next summer from Children's Place and it all arrived last week. I'm talking shorts for less than $3, sleepers for less than $2 and sunglasses for $0.97. So Luke had to try those on...

Hey Dad! What do you think?

Here's lookin at you...

Cool man Luke

I'm ready for my close-up...

Summertime fun...

Random Tuesday ramblings...

Nothing exciting to post today except to say that we are all getting over colds. Luke has not been a happy boy and is finally starting to feel better. This would be great except for the fact that I feel miserable. I cannot remember the last time that I was sick and who gets colds in the summer?!? Ugh, anyway, we took some photos yesterday outside to try to get some nice pics. They came out okay...

Smiling for the camera...

Drool monster...think of the younger siblings he will be able to torture with that spit string! ha ha...

Watching the traffic go by...

Cheese!!!

Pondering life...

Cute froggy heiny...

Also, this video is on a post from last week but please view it again. I know that it is almost impossible for an almost 7 month old baby to understand language and to talk back but tell me that it does not sound like Luke says "yes" (or more like "yesh") when I ask him if the biscuit tasted good. Then when I ask him again, it sounds like he says "yup". I have the most advanced baby around! :) And on a side note, Chrissy pay attention around 0:20 on the video. Luke does his best dolphin imitation too. ha ha!

Luke meets his Denver family...

Last week, Rob, Beck, Sandy and Caroline came to visit from Denver. We were all very excited for their visit since this was the first time that Luke was going to get to meet them all in person. As we predicted, Luke loved them all and found Sandy and Caroline so fascinating. Both Sandy and Caroline were very willing participants for some photoshoots but unfortunately, we never got to get all three of them in photoshoot together. We had lots of fun while they were visiting and can't wait to see them again. Here are some pics from their visit:

Luke vs. Teething biscuit

Last week we gave Luke a teething biscuit for the first time. While it was good b/c it kept him busy for a while, it made a huge mess and that mess became like cement when it dried. Luckily he dropped it on the floor and Bella made a mad dash for it. Once we start him on table food, Bella will become an integral part in our floor cleaning. :) Here are some pics and a little video from his first experience with the biscuit...Enjoy!

Hmmm, this thing is pretty good...

Yummy, I think I like it and look how I can feed myself...

The first tastes...

Hey?!?! Where'd it go?

That was fun...I'd like another...

Please, can I have another?

Okay, fine...I'll just smile and hope for another in the future...

The aftermath...

Luke is a big cousin!!!

Luke's baby cousin made her official debut yesterday @ 11:17 am. Emma Rose weighed 5 lbs, 15 ozs and was 18 inches long. She has an adorable mop of strawberry blonde hair but her face looks exactly like Keri. She is SO darn cute and we can't wait to see her again. Here are some pics and a video for all to see:

Look at all that hair!?!?!?

Proud aunt, uncle and big cousin

Proud papa and big sis

So cute!!!
